One-photo agents

Just a quick post to express my frustration at listings with only one photo on the MLS.  Come on, people!  What is the seller paying for, anyways?  Even the worst foreclosure prop will benefit from a couple of photos.  Let's all agree to stop the photos with the car mirror obvious in the corner...sigh.

I'm with you Jeff.  There really isn't any excuse with the ease of today's digital cameras - on the other hand - you did have a fairly moist winter in the East.......

True, Joan, but I think our sellers deserve a bit better, even if it requires snowboots!  Wintertime is even more key to have indoor shots - draws the buyers inside...

Jeff,

I agree with you.  If there is room for 8 photos then take 8 photos!  To me it makes me look more and I tend to scan by listings with no photos.

It is amazing to me that a seller would not jump down the agent's throat the day after he/she sees that the agent hasn't posted any photos.

this is something that has been bothering me for years, there is no excuse for it.   It floors me when I see million dollar homes with a photo of the outside of the house, nothing more.  I do more photos for my rentals than most agents do for their home listings!

Jeff -

I can relate!  BUT one photo is better than the listing that has NONE!  Don't you just wish you could call that seller and tell them all about it?  It's just a shame that a listing agent goes through the trouble of getting the listing and then insults it by giving just one picture or less!
