That's a big drop! For those of you bloggers out there, that's over a 100K less competitors to worry about...
Here's a couple of appropriate quotes for real estate pros and consumers alike, taken from some recent surveys of the business media:
“Your key to success is to arm yourself with the most current information available.”
- Stefan Swanepoel, 2008 Swanepoel Trends Report
“Sales professionals need to present facts, figures and charts that show the market clearly.”
- Steve Murray, RealTrends March 2008
“The number one concern of brokers going into 2008 is servicing smarter, more informed consumers.”
- Real Sure Brokers’ Survey

Wow, that is a big drop! By the way, guess who I have seen a few times in the last couple of days? :) Hangin' out with Mary down here...in Houston. Can you believe it?
All of these quotes are great! And so true...

Tell Mary I bought a cruiser. She'll know what I mean. Great to hear from you!
Wow! That's a big drop. I know my office voted to not renew as a whole so even though we are not Realtors we are still in the business. I don't know how many others have dropped the NAR but are still active in real estate sales.
Best,
Scott
JEFF - This is a cleansing that is long overdue. Hopefully, it will continue, and the profession will start to restore its collective reputation.
Wow, that is a huge drop and it amazes me when you think about it. That is like losing every Activerain member from NAR. That is a huge number, but it doesn't surprise me as our office has gone from 23 agents at the beginning of 2007 to I think 3 or 4 now.
Todd - that's a big drop at your office! Talk about having a bigger piece if the pie...
