Photo Shoot at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

I've just posted a new gallery on Heritage-Photographic.com of my photo shoot at Harpers Ferry, WV this past weekend.  Take a few minutes to check it out and drop me a guestbook comment!

I took the boys down for the day and we also visited Antietam National Battlefield in the very late afternoon (no photo op there that day...boohoo).  It was a nice time away with the boys and I like the photos that resulted, especially considering that the sky was mostly overcast and the light was fairly poor.

Enjoy!

Very nice.  I was just there last week.  I stopped at the outdoor market and stocked up on fruits and vegetables.  Better get those photos up too.

It is lovely this time of the year.  I sold a beautiful home in Loudoun County to the family that owns the Quality Inn i Harper's Ferry.  Lovely family.  I love the Shenandoah River in that area.

Thanks Lenn!  I appreciate the kudos...fall really is a great time of year in the Northeast.  I never realized how much I missed it when living in southern California.

I too often take my kids out for day trips and get some great photos. You don't think much about it until the kids ask to do it again, because they loved it so much. Seems simple to us, but our kids consider it a bonding experience with their parents.
